Official notification in the field of standards

Official notification in the field of standards is performed by HZN in accordance with the Directive laying down a procedure for the provision of information in the field of technical standards and regulations and of rules on Information Society services (Official Gazette 28/2009, 154/2009). This Directive fully transposes the provisions of Directive 98/34/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council and Directive 98/48/EC amending Directive 98/34/EC.

HZN's Information Point performs official notification of CEN since April 2007 and of CENELEC since January 2010.

Notifications by Members and Affiliates are published by CEN in „CEN Monthly Notification Register“ and by CENELEC in „DIRECTIVE 98/34/EC – Register of new national standardization initiatives notified under subsectors in the scope of CENELEC”.

By publishing these registers HZN informs Croatian public on new national standardization projects of all CEN and CENELEC Members and Affiliates.
