Is there a copyright on Croatian standards?
Yes. Croatian standards are published as stand-alone publications and are protected under the Standardization Act and other national and international copyright rules. Reproduction and distribution of standards or parts thereof without HZN’s prior consent is prohibited. HZN is the holder of copyright to the Croatian language version of adoptions of European and international normative documents (CEN, CENELEC, ISO, IEC).Copyright, exploitation rights and HZN’s policy of distribution and sale of normative documents in the Republic of Croatia are defined in HZN’s Internal Rules for Standardization (UPN), Part 1: Standardization in general, aims and general principles.
