Data Protection Officer

Pursuant to Article 37 of the Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (hereinafter: “the General Data Protection Regulation”) and Article 38 of the Statute of the Croatian Standards Institute the Director-General of the Croatian Standards Institute has appointed a data protection officer (DPO).
 
The duties of the data protection officer are laid down in Article 39 of the General Data Protection Regulation.
 
The DPO shall maintain confidentiality of all information and data he or she becomes aware of in course of the performance of his or her duties. This obligation of secrecy shall survive termination of the DPO’s term of office.
