HZN at the 18th Electrical Engineering Days in Poreč

The 18th Electrical Engineering Days, organised by the Croatian Chamber of Electrical Engineers (HKIE), took place in Poreč from 14 to 17 October 2026, bringing together professionals to discuss key developments in electrical engineering.

The programme focused on artificial intelligence, digitalisation, energy transition, smart grids, battery energy storage and new energy infrastructure, alongside innovative technological solutions presented by industry representatives.

The Croatian Standards Institute (HZN) and HKIE have a long-standing partnership, with HKIE being a long-standing HZN member. For 12 years HKIE has provided its members with access to the Croatian Standards Repository, supporting their everyday professional work.

HZN Director General Ana Marija Boljanović attended the event as a special guest of HKIE, alongside Dragica Rapo Hercigonja, Head of HZN’s Sales and Marketing Department.

The event was held under the high patronage of the President of the Republic of Croatia, Zoran Milanović, and with the support of relevant ministries, academic institutions, Istria County and the City of Poreč.
