Notice on Licensing and Use of Standards

The content of standardization deliverables is licensed, not sold. The licensee is granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the licensed content. Ownership of and unrestricted intellectual property rights in the content are not transferred to the licensee.
The licensee shall not reproduce, distribute, disclose or otherwise make the licensed content available to third parties, whether in whole or in part, including in digital and AI-enabled contexts, unless otherwise specified in the license agreement. The licensed content shall not be used for the training or operation of AI or ML systems, regardless of whether such content is shared with third parties.
The licensor and copyright holder HZN reserves the right to, upon reasonable prior notice, conduct an audit of or otherwise verify the licensee's use of the licensed content in order to ensure compliance with these terms.
Standards and their content are protected by copyright and other intellectual property rights. Pursuant to the Standardization Act HZN is the holder of the rights in Croatian standards and other deliverables it publishes and exercises the rights of distribution and licensing of international and European standardization deliverables in accordance with the rules of and permissions by ISO, IEC, CEN and CENELEC. The licensed content may be used only within the scope of the licence granted. Copyright and other proprietary notices must not be removed or altered.
All rights reserved for HZN pursuant to the Standardization Act (NN 80/2013). Unless otherwise specified, no part of standardization deliverables may be reproduced or utilized in any form or by any means, electronic or mechanical, including photocopying, or posting on the internet or an intranet, without prior written permission or a signed licence agreement.
By obtaining the licensed content of a standardization deliverable in printed form, ownership of its physical copy may be transferred to the purchaser; however, all intellectual property rights in the licensed content shall remain vested in HZN.
By obtaining the content of a standardization deliverable in electronic format regardless of the media or form of delivery you are granted a licence/usage right for one user only and for storing the document on one personal computer only. Installation or use on a network server is not permitted. You are allowed to make one hard copy of a standardization deliverable delivered in a non-editable format. The printed copy shall not be photocopied or reproduced in any form.
